Mission
Love God. Love People.
Beliefs
UNITY - We believe that our faith in Jesus, as our Lord and Savior and our adherence to the Bible, as our final authority on all matters unifies us with all Christians who believe the same thing. We are not the only Christians but Christian only.
1 Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:1-16
GOD - We believe in one God, a triune God, three-in-one. He is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14
GOD, the FATHER - We believe in God, the Father, the Almighty and the Creator of all things. He is Lord of all.
Deuteronomy 10:14; Jeremiah 32:17; Genesis 1:1
GOD, the SON - We believe in God, the Son, who is Jesus Christ. He born Jesus of Nazareth, both fully human and fully divine. Jesus is the one and only Son of God. He is our Lord and Savior who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead to give us eternal life.
Luke 19:10; John 1:1-3, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
GOD, the SPIRIT - We believe in God, the Holy Spirit. He regenerates, renews, encourages, guides, teaches and transforms us to be more like Jesus. The Spirit is active today and dwells within every Christian. He is the guarantee of our salvation.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18; Ephesians 1:13-14; John 14:16-17
The BIBLE - We believe the Bible is the inerrant and inspired Word of God. It is our authority for faith and practice for all Christians and the Church.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Thessalonians 2:15
The CHURCH - We believe the Church is the body of Christ. The Church is made up of all Christians. She was founded on the day of Pentecost and continues today.
Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, 27
PEOPLE - We believe that every person has value as a creation of God. All people are created in God's image. We have all willfully sinned against God. This sin separates us from God and has produced both physical and eternal death, which is eternity in Hell.
Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; James 1:14-15; Romans 8:12
SALVATION - We believe that all people can be saved by the grace of God through our faith in Jesus. We believe that a person receives God's grace by believing in Jesus, repenting of their sins, confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior and being baptized by immersion, but none of these things are enough to save by themselves. It is only through the death and resurrection of Jesus that we can be saved.
Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; John 3:16; Acts 2:38; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Peter 3:21
COMMUNION - We believe that we should celebrate the Lord's Supper, Communion, every Sunday. We do this to follow the example of the New Testament Christians. In partaking of the break and the juice, we remember Jesus' sacrifice for us and strengthen our relationship with Him.
Acts 2:42; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
1 Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:1-16
